Angry Mao is angry.

The king monument does look a lot like a chinese version of king. I had to google Mao statue to refresh my memory of what those looked like, and every one of them showed a smiling grandfatherly figure waving to the people- as most evil dictators are depicted.

Who approved this statue?  Why did The Rest of Us not have a say, much less a veto, in this matter?  Does not the National Mall belong to the American People?  All of this pharaonic deification seems frankly inappropriate for a man who is remembered for expanding social liberty.
