without a full-blown eye infection.

That streak ended this afternoon.

Sigh/ouch.

My left eye looks like something out of a grade B horror flick

Just a conjunctiva infection from something landing in my eye and not getting washed out.

My having a ton of work to do this evening isn't helping matters. I'd normally be lying on the couch, watchlistening to TV with a cold compress on my eye.
