Getting back into cinema...
« on: December 21, 2021, 11:30:03 PM »
I used to really love just sitting down with a good movie. Then, about 10 years, just couldn't deal with longer than a few minutes at a stretch... Starting to get back into things - might get a bigger screen for my living room - my 92" pull-down and projector ain't gonna cut it in that small area tho...

Tonight's movie - Appaloosa. Haven't seen it before, but the opening bar shootout was... incredible.

I found I can usually follow plot lines without actually watching.  Perhaps the only time I am missing much is when the laugh track hits a high because somebody plastered someone else with a pie.

Maybe you've seen the plot lines before? (How many times has a woman fleeing the bad guys - with or without her hero beside her - twisted her ankle and fallen?)
Trump won in 2016. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.
