Title: Good lord, even Pepsi is getting on the "Change & Hope" band wagon...
Post by: K Frame on January 16, 2009, 11:03:27 AM
I threw up a little bit in my mouth, and I didn't even watch any of the videos.

On the other hand, the woman in the lower right corner is SMOKING hot.

Well, I see they're continuing the tard marketing they started with the Tropicana rebranding to look like the store generic brand packaging.

They have billboards with that logo plastered everywhere in Seattle, especially in the bus tunnel under my building.

I couldn't get past the intro page either.

I can't wait till Tuesday is said and done. Even in my office, the boss has moved our normal every Tuesday first thing in the morning staff meeting till after the inauguration and given everyone two hours at home to watch that before they come to work. He for some reason didn't do that with either of the Bush inaugurations (and actually doesn't have the authority to -- but hope and change you know). My plan is to come into work on time, then start my two hours as soon as the staff meeting starts. :)

What in the world are they going to do when everything goes to hell from horrible decisions, and they don't have Republicans or Bush to blame?

Brittany from Philadelphia said she is looking forward to the day that she can be proud to be an American again.

WTF? Be proud again? Where is the puke smiley at?

"Well, the Republicans put this fail process into motion, and the Democrats, despite their best efforts, couldn't stop the REPUBLICAN FAIL CYCYLE! That's why we need change!"

I knew I liked Coke better for a reason.  No, it's not just because I'm from the south, either.

On the other hand, the woman in the lower right corner is SMOKING hot.

Being hot is part of Eva Longoria's (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0519456/) job.

Don't worry, there are still plenty of Republicans in the country to blame things on.

Why not.  That's the same argument Republicans used when there were problems during the first half of the Bush administration.  "This is fallout from Clinton policies."

So will PepsiCo sponsor the WH press briefing room or maybe Air Force One?

I see lots of naming/branding opportunities

Thank you for making me realize that's more than just possible.  =(

Those opportunities will go up in smoke pretty soon.  Big Brother doesn't like stuff like that.  But who knows, PepsiCo may get the contract to produce Victory Soda; after they get taken over by the .gov.

Well, I see an elimination of Pepsi products in my household in the near future. I suppose I'll switch to Coke or RC........ (Texan, ya know)  =D

Weren't both major soda producers linked to political parties for ages now, with Pepsi being known to lean Democrat, and Coke, obviously, vice vera?

In general, those who live way up in the hills or deep in the piney woods drink RC Cola, using it to wash down their Moon Pies. For the rest of us just-basic-country-folk-type Southerners, the sodypop of choice is and always will be the Carbonated Deity of the South, Coca-Cola. ;D

I'm still blaming Clinton, thank you very much.  The difference is, Clinton really IS to blame.  And where Bush is to blame, conservatives have been blaming him since 2001.
