Jagermeister is actually good straight out of the freezer. Warm not so much.
BTW: Hope your freezer is colder than 2F. Should be at least below 0 and closer to -10 to -20F
I keep it at 0. I assumed the whiskey had warmed a little given it was a simple shot. The deep freeze is colder, but I see no need to keep the refrigerator's freezer at a temp below the recommended one.
What brand of whisky?
In this case, it was Maker's Mark. I'm close to finishing off the bottle so I can try the Irish whiskey I purchased. I enjoy Maker's Mark, but the Irish whiskey I've tried has been a lot smoother. (Quiet Man was the first one I tried and I was amazed at both the flavor and smoothness. I don't remember the one that I'm planning to try next, and I'm too lazy to reach up into the cabinet to find it right now. Not Jameson is all I can recall right now.)
