I'm going to do everything I can to ensure I never see a doctor who went to Harvard Med.

I did turn to Mrs. Mush most of the way through Episode 1 and say "If I were Clarkson I'd hire a couple lawyers whose only job is to sue the council and mire them in paperwork when they try to do ANYTHING.  Good, bad, whatever.  Just make everything impossible"

While recognizing that this is a semi-scripted TV show, I think they covered something like that in Season 2, but the attorney fees were even too much for mega-rich Jeremy.

I don't know how anyone gets anything done in the UK. The town council is the face of it, but all the farming rules from the UK government are just brutal.

That's like 20% of CA's railroad bridge.  Kind of a decent value.

We started watching Season 3 last night.  Got through a couple episodes.  I still really enjoy this show.

Up to $1.9 billion and 4 years.

In the end will more than likely cost the American tax payers $4-6B.

Would that be the George Floyd and Gazan Genocide Memorial Bridge?

So, your house wears a tinfoil hat.

This sounds like a reasonable trade-off for the GPS app not working.

The original article I posted mentioned that statistic in passing.

Apparently mathematics scores aren't much better.

Relevant to this, I just saw a news segment that said only 21% of Chicago 8th graders are proficient at reading. There was a time when the opposite of that, 21% NOT proficient, was an outrage. Chicago may be ground zero for the idiocracy generation.
