Favorite Beer

Monkeyleg:
Enjoying a Pabst Blue Ribbon in an aluminum can right now.

I've been drinking PBR since college days over thirty years ago. I also drank black coffee--and lots of it--at that time, and from brands like Folgers or Maxwell House.

It seems like the demand for designer beers started about the same time as the demand for frape's and lattee's or whatever they're trying to call coffee today.

If beer were meant for connoisseurs, they would have called it wine.

bratch:
I'm a fan of the Shiner as well.

The new Bud Select is pretty good also.

Ben:
Most any of the traditional wheat beers that keep a little Brewer's yeast in the bottom of the bottle. Franziskaner is probably my favorite of the "mitt hefe" varieties.

TNGO:
Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale.

Modifiedbrowning:
Moneyleg, I like PBR as well, one of the better cheaper domestic brews.
Anyone a Sierra Nevada fan? Good stuff.
I also like British beers, Bass, Boddingtons, Double Diamond etc.
