Granted, he was a victim of redistricting, but still...  =D

I saw that too - looks like the dude lost by over 20 points.  =D

Kucinich claims his opponent ran " . . . a campaign lacking integrity, filled with false truths."  (false truths?  ??? )

NRA rates Kucinich's opponent, Marcy Kaptur, as a "C" which is pretty bad, until you realize Kucinich was an "F."

You know, some time ago when Kucinich was running for President, I was flipping channels and came upon a debate; Kucinich was talking, but at the time I has NO idea who he was. I don't remember the issue but as the Almighty is my witness, from what the guy was saying I thought he was from the Socialist Worker's Party or something similar . . . I was dismayed to find out he was an incumbent Democrat congressman.  :O

It wouldn't surprise me at all if he gets hired on by one of the networks (most likely NBC/MSNBC) as a commentator.

If I were him, I'd just retire and spend more time with the family.   ;)

God have mercy on your souls.

In the spirit of, "if you don't have anything nice to say", I do give him credit for saying what he believes, so that people know where he stands. I appreciate that much more than the mealy-mouthed politician who will say anything to get elected, then stab their constituents in the back. People who voted for Kucinich knew exactly who and what they were voting for, and couldn't play the "he betrayed me!" game like some progressives are doing with Obama.

So, is he standing on a box, or is she on her knees?

(I seem to recall that she was taller than him, and that he was a fairly short fella).

Dennis Kucinich was, liKe most ideological leftists, hated by the democratic party.  The democrats serve major corporations, not regular people like him.   That's why they got rid of him.

Ah the only problem there is that the Democrats didn't redraw the congressional districts, the Republicans did. He just got beat out by another incumbent who had more people in the new district than he did.

Oh here is an updated photo of his wife.

Well it appears that they are not under water or in water, so I would say she is a terrestrial.

No, I can confirm that one. Sorta. Dems didn't care for him that much. He's kinda the Ron Paul of the Dems (obviously not in political views, but being outside the mainstream), makes the regular establishment facepalm. They don't (usually) act against his election, but they don't go out of their way to be supportive as well. Much like Bernie Sanders.

Other thing I remember is, his wife had some massive kind of leverage over him and he followed her orders to the letter. Ah, she's an attractive lady, but I remember it being something else as well.

- Resident Democrat.

Oh, that I could definitely believe. It's the "got rid of him" I think is putting it a little strongly. If the DNC could have "got rid of him" at will, they would have done that a few years ago, when he became a national laughing stock.

Given the UFO talk about him, that is just too funny.

Yes, it is. Like Paul, the party mainstream sees him as a nutter, but not worth mounting a serious campaign to get him kicked out. Gets the nutters all worked up about conspiracy.

Ah...  Basically, yes.

Yep.  Ron Paul is a good comparison - like Paul, Kucinich engaged in principled behaviour that aligned with his beliefs.

I'd agree with that much.  He is true to his beliefs.
