Many professions bar people with certain types of criminal convictions from working in that profession. I am certainly familiar with the concept in law, healthcare and first responders. There is now a proposal to relax those restrictions for certain types of healthcare jobs om Washington.

So why aren't people without criminal convictions not taking those jobs?
