Spitzer resigns...
« on: March 11, 2008, 03:59:57 PM »
Not!   Did anyone listen carefully to what he said yesterday?  I'm paraphrasing here, but what he said was that he wanted to bring progressive politics to NY, to improve things etc etc etc and then at the end of those comments he said: "And that will continue." I have heard nothing mentioned anywhere about those 4 words.

EDIT:  Oops.  He's gone as of the 17th.

Craig didn't go anywhere, either.

Count me in on the Progressive party.

The Spitz wants to stay in office. The other dems don't want to force him to do anything. They'd like him to leave and let Ray Charles take charge, but don't want to say so. Don't want to be moralizing, I guess.

I thought I heard today that the Lt. Gov failed the bar exam and went into govt service and politics instead.

He's giving such a tear-jerker BS speech,

He hasn't resigned yet, but he's done.  He'll use the governorship as a bargaining chip with prosecutors.

Hillary raised eyebrows with her statement, that her sympathies were with "the governor and his family".

Oh?

Why him, why not just his family? The MSM already pounced on that.

Actually, I heard Hillary when she made that remark.  It was yesterday and she said "his family", not "...the governor and his family."  That is unless she made another remark at another time.

Definitely not 5k hot but she's not ugly either.  Nice body on her, that's for sure.
