Quote
Tony Zirkle, who is seeking the Republican nomination in northern Indiana's 2nd District, stood in front of a painting of Hitler, next to people wearing swastika armbands and with a swastika flag in the background for the speech to the American National Socialist Workers Party in Chicago on Sunday.

"I'll speak before any group that invites me," Zirkle said Monday. "I've spoken on an African-American radio station in Atlanta."
___________________________________________________

The event was not the first time Zirkle has raised controversy on race issues. In March, Zirkle raised the idea of segregating races in separate states. Zirkle said Tuesday he's not advocating segregation, but said desegregation has been a failure.

Zirkle received 30 percent of the vote in the 2006 primary, losing to incumbent Chris Chocola, who was defeated in the general election. Zirkle said Tuesday that winning the election is not his primary goal.

"My primary purpose is to educate and inform," he said.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised, though.  We have a nut here in Missouri who ran for governor on a similar platform.

What a RETARD.

No, wait, that's insulting to the retarded.

This guy is just unspeakably stupid.

Can the Republican party kick someone out? I mean, really, say, "NO PARTY FOR U" and take away their party membership?

What's scary isn't that he's running as a vague neo-nazi. What's really scary is that he got %30 of the primary vote. That's just..... damn.

2nd district, eh?  Isn't that South Bend and Elkhart?

Sounds about typical for that area.

Well, there's your small minority of slimular (yes, slimular) individuals that turned out just to vote for this guy.  Then there's the larger minority of people that liked some other policy (or three) that he supported, and didn't mind the Nazi stuff too much.  Then the larger group that didn't see the racist stuff at all, but heard something good about him.  Then there's your much larger group that picked his name out on the ballot, for no particular reason.

ONLY the ones in Indiana?

Regardless of where, when you're talking Nazi . . . what's not to hate?

In case anyone is thinking "gee, he's an attorney from Northern Indiana.  Does El Tejon know him"?

Yep, I do know him.  Why Tony would do this is beyond me.

How is Barack Obama a product of desegregation?  Were his parents forced to marry by government dictat?

People falling in love and choosing to get married in states or countries where miscegenation was not illegal has nothing to do with the federal government requiring integration of schools, the military and government offices.

Your example does not the fail bring.

Two things.

One, in video games they are FUN to shoot.

Two, they hated communists.
