Title: 9/11 -- Whodunnit

It seems some FBI agents think the Saudi government was behind the 9/11 attacks. Why is Saudi Arabia such a "valuable" ally of the United States, anyway?

Yeah, nothing like killing off the best, the brightest, and the most fit, generation after generation after generation.

Makes you wonder, out of our roughly half a million killed in WWII, might one have been the father of the guy who conquers cold fusion?

...or thinkers, philosophers, politicians who are willing to do the minimum to save their own culture. Seems like much of the manhood in France, German, and Britain was wasted in WWI and WWII.

I thought it was pretty well known that some Saudi princes did fund the 9.11 attack,  or help funnel monies around for it.  Trying to establish agency is going to be hard.    Was the Saudi government at the actual head of this?  ..... or was it rogue elements in the hierarchy?
If one can prove an individual responsibility then, fine, make a case against them.

But to make a case against Saudi Arabia?   A sovereign nation?     ???  Dunno.

I'm not claiming the country is a great friend and ally.   Just that this business is awfully muddy to me. =|

Doesn't the USA produce more oil than SA now?  And Canada, not far behind?  Although it does make sense to use theirs up first...

It's not only about our domestic production/use.  Oil companies are multinational, and stable oil prices contribute to the world wide economy being stable and predictable for US companies to make money.

Hasn't there been a "refresh" of the Saudi government since Trump took office?
