I saw this a while back.  You can't make this sort of thing up.

I remember seeing this on THR, but it's still just as hilarious!  grin

What?  Is it on backwards?

Everyone ridicule Antibubba.  He's not tactical enough to notice everybody else's mistakes.  He's just a big loser.

Oh, never saw it there.  I was afraid to post it there for fear of being attacked for cop-bashing, so I guess I didn't even do a search for it there.

This got me thinking, just how much firearms training do NYPD officers get?

The big question is...

Did this officer mount the aimpoint himself, or was it mounted by a police force armorer?

Will these things work when they're reversed?

Granted mine has a kill flash on it, but my Aimpoint doesn't really work when on backward. You think he would notice when the switch is on the other side of the sight? Unless of course he was unscrewing the battery.

I would've loved to see him train - including qualification on the range - with that setup.

Doesn't it give you a warm, fuzzy feeling that we're SO well protected by these minions of law and order?

Do you think they give him any ammo?  Maybe he's just supposed to stand there and look deterring.  With arms like that, they should have just issued him a baseball bat or two-by-four and some old school cop shades (instead of the moto-x/ski goggles).

That answers THAT question.

And I never claimed to be tacticool.  My idea of cutting-edge technology in rifles is if the country of manufacture still exists. Wink--or in the case of mosin-Nagants, exists again.  It was all downhill after the Mauser.

Tactical is for dilettantes.  I prefer to think of myself as Strategic.   rolleyes
