Years ago there were plans on building an actual cruise ship replica of the Titanic.  I don't think that ever got off the ground.

This appears to be a land-locked  tourist attraction that will never sail.   Atleast they won't have to worry about lifeboat capacity if the project goes under .....  [popcorn]

If it is installed in a lagoon or similar, they should have a few fiberglass icebergs floating around.

Think bigger.  Tow in real icebergs.

Seems eminently do-able as compared to what passes for a "cruise ship" today.

I promise not to duck.

Cruise liners are designed to stay in coastal waters and other sheltered places.  Titanic was an ocean liner built rugged enough for heavy seas out in deep waters.  There is significantly greater material investment in the ocean liners because of the structural requirements.

Titanic will forever be a monument-reminder to designers to never be too arrogant.

Also in training your crew properly concerning their ship and damage control.

1: even with the undersized rudder they probably would have dodged if they hadn't given throttle orders that deprived the rudder of all turning authority.

2: the form of damage incurred is easily ameliorated with simple shoring components that were readily available; you don't have to stop all the leaking, just obstructing most of it so the pumps can keep up is enough.

Then they would just drown in sight of the coast.

I thought about adding the last part, but someone who never saw that movie wouldn't understand.
