Family Outing
« on: May 15, 2009, 02:24:58 PM »

Three out of five of the family, anyway. We just got the Taurus back from the factory after some tweaking/repair and I wanted to test it out, and Miss Priss wanted/needed practice with her new S&W. Sweetie Pie's first trip to the range, where she got to shoot her great-grandfather's S&W .22 Kit Gun.

Miss Priss handled the basic instruction for Sweetie Pie.

Looking at her target while cocking the pistol, like her Mama told her she should.

Sweetie Pie's not much of a shot, yet, but managed to hit paper with almost all of them. She blew one of the clips off the target-holder with one, woulda been a great shot if she'd meant to do it. Miss Priss is a decent shot but needs more hand strength. I can hit what I aim at well enough. Always enjoy the practice, though.

Next step is to find someone with some land out in the country so we can get in some "kablooey"-type shooting, cans, fruits, and such, with the pistols and the shotgun.

how old is the small boss?
It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

What, no time dilation measurements?  What kind of boring "outing" is that?
