That's a creative one.
Pissed at Verizon, I take it?  What did they do to him?
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.

IIRC, it worked out to 2 cents, as in the two cents you leave for a waiter when their service sucked, or as in "get in your two cents."

But, I'm not exactly a math nerd, so I could be wrong.

Nobody has got it yet. It's $.002, or .2 cents.

e^(i*pi) = -1

The geometric sum of 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/8 + 1/16 + 1/32 + ... + 1/infinity = 1

My father had a grudge against some utility back in the late 70's, and they sent him a bill mid-month for $4, some overage, or miscalculation on their part that was the last straw as far as he was concerned.

So he sent in a check for $2 The next bill came for $2, and he sent in $1. When the bill came in for $1, he sent in $.50.

At $.25 someone from the utility billing dept. called him up to ask what the problem was.

He was having a tough time deciding to send in $.12 or round up to $.13 the next time round... So he vented to the caller and felt better.
I promise not to duck.

I'd like to hear the back story.......
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

I had a bill last month for $1.67 on a store credit card, I sent a check for $2.00. I'm hoping for a refund and I closed the account.

I had seen this check somewhere before and I think it had the explanation or back story with it. I'll dig around and see if I can find it again. If I remember correct though, it was over a cell phone bill dispute and worked out to $438.17. At least thats my memory as of now and as I'm no math whiz, no way could I tell if it was wrong or right.
