If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

It's offensive and crass.

Maybe they'll learn something from the backlash and negative press.

when events like the boston bombing take place, the first question on my mind is "why?". i would like nothing more than to try to understand what made this guy, and others, do what they do.  unfortunatly the reasoning never makes sense, and giving the limelight to a nutjob is a sure way to bring more out.

Rolling Stone is a music paper, right?

What do terror bombings that kill and maim people have to do with music? A deep bass sound?

Maybe they used to be but the few issues I've read over were more leftwing nutbaggey from the entertainment perpective. More politics than music.

I still think we're going to find out that younger brother isn't a fully radicalized nutjob.  I think he just did it for his brother.

Possibly -- but he did it, nonetheless, and should not be glorified for having done it.

Because it contributes to his "15 minutes of fame" which drives a lot of these nut jobs. People who commit atrocities like this do NOT need to have their faces plastered on the covers of national magazines, but be buried near the back in small print. Just my opinion. The covers should be reserved for noteworthy folks who do good things.
