Has it been so long? Damn, I miss that guy. I never got the chance to meet him in person, but he was one of the good ones, for sure. Best wishes to Crystal.
Every so often, I'll see a post by a newbie with a similar screenname, and my heart skips a beat. Spooks me a little.....

Crystal,

Though Alan is passed, he is not forgotten.

He left us with so much given in the archives of TFL, THR, FR, TR...etc., and for many in personal contacts.
He left us too soon , with too much left to share, too much work left to do for Freedom's sake.

Thoughts and my best to Crystal on this day of rememberance.

Damn- I miss him too.

Regards,

Steve

I stumbled across THR a little too late to have come to know Labgrade.

The respect and admiration here for him speaks volumes about his character.

Wish I had known him.

Sorry for your loss, Crystal.

Alan is very much missed by everyone that knew him.  Has anyone spoken to Crystal lately?

Thoughts and prayers heading west toward Crystal.  Although I never met him, I always was interested in his thoughts and writings.  Every now and then he crosses my mind.  A guy once told me that sometimes we do our best work and don't even know it.  Labgrade was that way.Sad

Best wishes to his wife. Even after a year, I don't doubt she doesn't miss him any less.

I know this thread is for Alan but - let me also throw in a wish for remembrance also - to dear Kentucky Rifle.

Last year was bad for losses.  Even now - Airboss from THR and S&W forum has passed just recently.  RIP all you guys.  I wish they knew just how many remember them and appreciated their part in all this.

We are all mortal - but it is good to remember those who have, however fleetingly, touched our lives.

Steve, I last talked to Crystal about three months ago.  Way too long.  I called last night and left a message that we were thinking about her.

She said last time we talked that she wanted to have a picnic this summer at her place for her THR friends.  Maybe you will be in Colorado soon?
