UPDATE: Grassley plays hardball on ‘Gunrunner’

   Republican Sen. Charles Grassley is following through on threats to play hardball over what he considers Justice Department stonewalling on his requests for information and documents relating to Project Gunrunner.

This isn't hardball, this is politics as usual. If they were actually being serious about this they would have followed through with the warning of holding the offending parties in contempt of congress whose deadline was broached two months ago when they failed to head a subpoena. The charade being putting on here strikes me as the Federal equivalent of pushing your peas about the dinner plate to give the illusion something substantive is actually occurring.
