So much for the exhaustive vetting process. There are 296 new refugees with TB just in Minnesota.
I remember my dad telling me that he almost didn't get past the doctors at Ellis Island because of his heart murmur. They were afraid it might cause him health issues down the line that would cost taxpayer dollars. I guess "exhaustive vetting" isn't what it used to be.

A while ago, the gov started letting people with various horrible sexually transmitted diseases in, stating it would only cost the taxpayers $400,000,000 a year to deal with them. What a bargain!
