Semper Fi and Happy Birthday, gentlemen.
Is anyone doing anything special for our birthday?  I am having lunch with the only other executive at work who is a former Marine.

If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.

Happy Birthday and Semper Fi Marines.

Unfortunately, my day is packed from 0500-2200 tonight, so I won't be doing anything to celebrate.

We few Marines in the office bought a cake and are inviting all our fellow slaves from the Army, Navy amd Air Force to see how a birthday celebration should be done. As the oldest Marine present, I get to read General John A. Lejeune's birthday message.

Semper Fi!

I think I still hold the record for the longest time in grade as E-4.

I'm meeting up with some of the recruiters for carnivorous dining and a cake commencing at 1930.  There are threats that wimmens will be present at some point, so I'm working up plausable deniability plans.  Some of the guys may need them.

stay safe.

If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

Hey you kids!! Get off my lawn!!!

They keep making this eternal vigilance thing harder and harder.  Protecting the 2nd amendment is like playing PACMAN - there's no pause button so you can go to the bathroom.

I work mids.  I worked this morning and have to go back in tonight so I have to skip the festivities.

But... I got home this morning and found small pieces of paper with quotes about the Corps plastered all around the house.  My wife must have spent hours online looking them up and then taping them everywhere.  She's never forgets an important date.

She's cool that way.   =D

I knew a PFC with two hashmarks, a scuba bubble, and two rows of ribbons.  Bit of a drinking problem.  First time he was busted, was given a chance to make rank again.  Corporal back to PFC for pissing off the third deck of the barracks in broad daylight right in front of the OOD.  Got an OTH from there.
