Eager to the turn the page on the Trump years, the Biden White House is launching an effort to unearth past problems with the politicization of science within government and to tighten scientific integrity rules for the future.

Meaning, they have to figure out a way for the science to say what they want without people thinking it is politicized.

The only complaining I recall was about Trump restricting travel and taking other early actions. Democrats were calling him xenophobic and encouraging people to go out with the crowds. There was also the obvious misinformation telling people not to worry about masks then later telling everyone to wear masks.
