I like the 'Internet Special Forces'. Where do I sign up?  Can I be an Internet Special Forces Risk Manager: ISFRM? That sounds kind of Israeli, so it must be tactical.

After reading all the very negative comments about this individual, I just want to say one thing.  As long as he pretends to serve his country, we should pretend to respect that.

Oh that's a rich read. I feel a bit left out on the whole spotting impersonators thing though. Nobody ever seems to try to pose as military using a set of cracker jacks.  :P

I'm more curious at this point why this is so late coming to the attention of APS.  It's been making the rounds of fora that have at best an extremely tenuous connection to the military and/or firearms.

To answer my own question in part - I did not cross-post to APS because I presumed that everyone would have heard about it from other areas of their life or their blog readings.  Seeing as how the guy has not yet been cuffed and stuffed, there has been nothing tremendously newsworthy happening outside of the sheer volume of electrons being devoted to laughing at him.

So please accept my apologies for not having posted anything about this way back on 8/27.  But pleeeeeeeease can I stay on the U.S.S. Enterprise long enough to see how it ends?

stay safe.
If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

Well put.  I thought the same thing   :P

But hey, now it's here, and the members of APS can now do their part to keep an eye open for Capitan Krispy Kreme.   Looks like Balog and Millcreek just volunteered ( apologies to anyone else that lives up in the NW that I forgot to include)
