Nice sentiment but I'd rather see them drop the cute name, cut state funding for these cesspools entirely, and move on to the next order of business.

Um, bills have nick-names.

Bobs, Jims, and Jerry's have nick-names too. ;)
The stupid acronyms like USA PATRIOT and straight up lies (affordable care act) should go away too.

Ummm what "conversations"?  From what I gather, right now it's academic suicide for either faculty or students to act even slightly Trumpish.  Maybe even actually suicidal, considering the violence of some of the disappointees.

The latest buffoon to come out in support of safe spaces (although not on university campuses in this case) is our President-elect.

Troll level: Presidential.

No argument that the man is a troll, an expert one even. I don't find it to be presidential though.

Possibly irrelevant, but just to lighten the mood on the concept of "Presidential":

I am informed informally that some Presidents are actually human beings.

some Presidents are actually human beings.

And the rest are alien lizard people.  [tinfoil]

Reagan was a man who used humor appropriately, effectively, and with good intent. It's been all down hill since then.

I for one am happy with president elect Trump aggressively trolling the media and progressives.

He has triggered them into an emotional blubbering incompetency.

They still don't know what hit them.

For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

I have heard that comment a lot this year about Trump.  However, there are a lot of lying, corrupt scumbags in D.C. that act "Presidential".  I'll wait and see what he gets done.

Not to mention that I have heard a lot of past leaders people revere were pretty crude in private, some in public.  Just no cameras and internet back then.

It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Not a big fan of twitter but it is one battlefield in the war.  Ceding it completely to the enemy is unwise.  And given twitters limitations, the quick witty and contemptuous quip is the best response to leftist gasbaggery.

Or maybe trump ought to take his cue from the conservative sorts who have failed to conserve anything the last 50 years and just let the enemy walk all over him?
