Dogs and Halloween

http://thechive.com/2016/10/23/dogs-in-halloween-costumes-are-the-best-dogs-25-photos/

I came across this collection of dog costumes and thought I would share.  Some of these costumes are pretty good.

Dang...
Those kids look just like dogs.
7-11 was a part time job.

No jury in the land would convict any of those dogs for mauling their owners.

I was impressed that the Cerberus dog hadn't bit his other heads off yet.
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

I didn't see any claim that the costumes lasted longer than the time spent taking the picture.  I can't imagine a dog wearing glasses very long.

I highly enjoy humiliating critters with funny clothes and such. The dark looks and grudging "I only tolerate this because I love you, you stupid human" attitude makes me laugh.

OTOH, I've run into many dogs that actually enjoy it because it's attention. Pearl loves getting dressed up and I practically had to chase my bosses bulldog down and pin her to get the pumpkin costume OFF of her. Getting lot's of "OH SO CUTE!!!" from the humans will get some dogs to put up with just about anything.

Good thing I had parked my keyboard on the side table when I saw that Little Red Riding Hood pic.

Alternative hypothesis:  Dog was running away 'cause it thought you were going to do more costumefoolery?   >:D    ???

We dressed up our dog on Sunday for a parade put on by a rescue group.
She did not mind. I was amazed by how many people wanted to take a picture with her on the street in town not even at the parade.

I needed a mod to change my signature because the concept of "family friendly" eludes me.
Just noticed that a mod changed my signature. How long ago was that?
A few months-mods

Yeah, the Little Red Riding Hood is by far the best of the lot.
