DC: Man saves child from pitbull attack, may be prosecuted for it

The gun owner who responded shot 1 dog.  Police officer responds to sound of gunfire.  Police officer shoots the other 2 dogs.

Interesting tidbit:  The boy took a bullet in the foot. 

Anyone want to lay odds on the relationship between prosecution of the gun owner, and the source of the bullet in the boy's foot?

Wonder if the bullet that hit the kid in the foot came from the cop.
