Thoughts on Tales
« on: January 09, 2011, 10:02:38 PM »

So some folks have uh...  complained   threatened   attempted kidnapping announced unease at waiting a very long period of time before getting their hands on more Tales.

I had a thought.  The short version is done and being edited.  I'm writing a bunch of short stories.  I could pretty quickly crank out an actual book through Infinity Press.  As a bonus, I'd be willing to include patch(es).  I was pondering making four patches.  The corporate standard patch, the HR patch (liberatos opressare, to oppress the liberated), the Terror Legion patch, and the anarchist patch.

Book and patch (or patches depending on cost) would be under $15.  Plus probably $4 for shipping.

Would any of y'all be tentatively interested?

Yes indeed.  Let us know when things are ready, methods of payment, etc.
Thanks again, Rev.

Go for it!  I would recommend having as many people as possible read it with a mind for editing.  I've benefited greatly by having more than one person edit my books.  Each person finds different problems, and it yields tons of useful feedback about the overall quality of the work as well.

Heh, I will make a note.   How goes the editing?   Cursing my very existence yet?

I'd buy one for grins and giggles.

Oh sure, kowtow to the cowbells but stiff the oboes. I get it.  :P

So where might we read a sample of said Tales?

Doing the majority of the editing while at National. Will email the completed edit back to you the end of next week.

And what do you mean, "yet"? That suggests there was some point I stopped... :P

Put me down for a book, a corporate standard patch, the HR patch.

An oboe, hidden somewhere in the cover art would be cool.     ;)
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

Or maybe an oboe suspended b/t two cowbells?....
