We don't have access to the old Roundtable at THR.
Sorry GoRon - brain fart - shoulda thought of that!

Here is the first post on that from BryanP - if it shows OK
In addition to the tabbed browsing, the customizable themes, the popup blocking etc.. the best thing about Firefox (and Mozilla) are the 3rd party extensions available. Here are the ones I'm currently running. What are your favorites and why?
Adblock
http://adblock.mozdev.org/
Just what it sounds like. Use is quite simple. I'm using it to block banners from various sites as well as that stupid "Intellitext" garbage that is littering so many web sites these days. You can easily block individual elements; or if you prefer you can configure it more generally. It defines "easy to use but highly configurable."
Flashblock
http://flashblock.mozdev.org/
Any flash content is replaced by a frame the size of the flash object and a graphical "F" lofo. If you want to see the flash just click the F. Handy now that a lot of sites are using flash for their ads. Very handy for a poor dialup user.
ForecastFox
http://forecastfox.mozdev.org/
Give it your zip code, tell it how many days you want to see (or just the current time & day). It pulls data from weather.com and puts little icons and labels in the status bar at the bottom of the browser. I've got mine set to show the current conditions, plus the predicted conditions for today and tomorrow. Double click it and it goes to weather.com's 10-day forecast for your area.
Image Zoom
https://addons.update.mozilla.org/e...info.php?id=139
A simple little extension. I've set it so that if I right-click on an image and move the scroll wheel it will zoom or shrink the image.
Session Saver
http://extensionroom.mozdev.org/more-info/sessionsaver
My favorite extension yet. If you just install it you can ignore it. By default if your browser crashes, your system freezes, you accidentally close the browser, whatever, when you start Firefox again it will re-open any tabs exactly to where you were, complete with browser history. You can also save individual browser sessions and reload them later.
User Agent Switcher
http://extensionroom.mozdev.org/mor...eragentswitcher
Allows me to define User Agent strings for other browsers and lie to a web site about what browser I'm using. Handy since my bank only supports IE and Netscape for online billpay, even though they support the versions of Netscape based on Firefox code. I just select Netscape 7.1 as my user agent and I'm in.
Firefox extensions - what do you use?
I've recently grown very fond of the Paste Quote extension. Highlight text in a forum, Ctrl+C just like normal, then when you go to paste the text you wish to quote into the body of the message, simply right click and select "Paste Quote" and it will paste the text into the body with the Quote tags already included. Very handy!

I think this one and session saver may get some use.
I also like Forecast Fox and Stock Ticker

Firefox Web Browser Under Attack
Major security flaws just uncovered in the popular Firefox
browser have its creators rushing to fill the gaps. The
vulnerabilities are called "extremely critical" and were
leaked to the Web a few days ago. Ouch. For detail on what
the problem entails, and where to find the patches, check
out our story. Firefox may be good, but it's not perfect!
