web programming question
« on: August 16, 2005, 05:24:58 PM »
I'd like to add a page to the web site at work that allows users to uplaod files to our FTP.

I've been searching for scripts or whever is needed to do that, but I'm not finding anything because I'm not sure how I should word the querry. I get plenty of sites on "upload your webpage" and FTP clients and "Upload your files here" type pages, but nothing with the actual front end for me to download and use on my site.

Hopefully all that made sense.

I want to add something like this to my page

http://www.printingdyn.com/pages/upload.html

(only maybe better ... I don't like how that one doesn't show your upload progress...but I'll take what I can get)

oh, and it has to be free (cause I work for a cheepass)

PHP is the only way off the top of my head.  You won't be able to find that code on web pages, though, the code won't show when you do a 'View Source'.  You will have to find it somewhere like the site blackburn posted.
I still say 'Give Detroit to Canada'
