A little Dirty Harry goodness to brighten the day. Good pilot lessons in there. Don't try to fly without lessons. =D

I find myself watching that one about once a year or so. Great movie, even with the 42 shot revolvers.
I actually never thought much of Robert DuVall in his earlier roles, but man does he make a great old guy cowboy.

At 3:38, (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzbCBfi5-Bw&feature=youtu.be&t=3m38s) there's a *great* example of cover vs concealment. :D

No love for early Duvall? I guess you don't love the smell of napalm in the morning, either.

Maybe he wants a horse's head in his bed.

Honestly, I haven't seen that movie in over 30 years. I won't say that I won't change my mind on Duvall if I were to watch it now. I know some of my other tastes have changed over the years. :)

Open Range is a great film. I put it up there with Tombstone and Unforgiven as great modern Westerns.
As for Duvall, I really enjoy Secondhand Lions.

Yup, he's great there too. Though credit where credit is due, so is the rest of the cast. Another movie worth watching more than once.

I have stolen his speech by the pond and used it with my Scout Troop many times. Yep, even the true love part. What can I say, I'm a hopeful romantic. ;)
Edited to add a link to the speech...
