Consider this: A tweet from Trump was able to do what years of socialist handwringing and policies disastrous to the economy have not been able to accomplish. (1)
Effing Glorious!
(1) Yes, its only a postponement, but lets wait and see how this plays out.

We all had reservations about Trump when he was running, and when he won, but so far he has been doing a good job of draining the swamp. Not perfect, but he's irritating a lot of the right people, so he must be doing something right.

In a statement, the company confirmed the conversation, calling it extensive.
I'm not sure which President called it "doing a little arm-bending."
Johnson?
Perfectly within the purview of Presidential powers. It's the second half of the "speak softly but carry a big stick" equation enumerated by Teddy. Roosevelt, not Kennedy. >:D

I think Teddy[ Roosevelt]'s motto was "Drink heavily but carry a big drink."

I thought it was "Drink heavily but remember how to swim."

Different Teddys.

I thought it was "Drink heavily, and she's a big girl, she can get out of the car on her own."

Did you change your text? If one puts "drinking" and "Teddy" together in a sentence, it implies "Kennedy" to me, not "Roosevelt." That's what I was responding to with the swimming remark.
No big deal. Let that be the biggest confusion of the week.

The idea that this confused me confuses me. I don't think the original post confused me, but I may have possibly become confused by another one .... or somewhere during typing this one.... :old: :old:
