Just picked up a pair of traps legal for Puget Sound Spot Shrimp. Season opens in a couple weeks. Be interesting to see how it goes hauling up, by hand, from a kayak, a 30+ lbs pot from 250-350' of water.
Lemon shrimp...Coconut shrimp...Pepper shrimp...Shrimp soup...Shrimp stew...Shrimp salad...
I think you need to add a davit to the kayak. On second thought let us know how that works.
Yeah, and big PTO winch
I have one word for you. Outriggers.
I thought you were going to talk about toe sucking and kissing.
I've successfully pulled crab pots of similar weight. Granted from <50'. But it's not as bad as you think. Really.
You need a friend.......with a camera. jim
I'm not sure what you're going to do with 350' of line on a kayak?Wrap it around your neck...? Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.
30#+ pot, 350' of wet nylon line, kayak. Does the term "rig for dive" mean anything to you?
Holy hell. It's like giving a loaded gun to a chimpanzee...
the last thing you need is rabies. You're already angry enough as it is.OTOH, there wouldn't be a tweeker left in Georgia...
