The long story short of it is that Cruz had had MANY interactions with the cops, so much that he cop at the school recognized who he was when he got out of the Uber and walked into the school, but due to their policy of ignoring crimes due to corruption it ultimately led to this latest shooting.

At this point, nothing about law enforcement's malfeasance in the case will shock me.

So is there a connection between the Broward County SD, and money laundering? Was Cruz supposed to have something to do with it?

OK. It just looks like the third link is about other LE (not Broward County) laundering drug money. So that seems unconnected.

I agree with you, it is an article for 2015 so how is that relevant?
