The APS private jet

I bet if we all chip in, we can get this.  It is built about 25 miles away from me, so maybe I can get us the 'local resident' price.

Meh.  Too big.  Too slow.  Too pedestrian.

Why do I have the feeling that the "BAR" mentioned is just a regular bar capitalized for emphasis?  =(

Heh. My first thought was "BAR? That's neat. Little too wimpy for engaging targets from an aircraft, though. Maybe it's to repel borders when landed..."

Then I realized it was the boring kind of bar.  :'(

I'd really rather have the boat. Less chance of an alcohol-related mishap.

When we lived on an 800 acre lake, my dumb ass neighbor collided with another boat.  They were the only two boats on the lake at the time.

I've been in the Air Guard for seven years, and the only military aircraft I've ever had a ride in was an Army UH-60.  It's nigh on impossible to get a ride on an aircraft around here what with the wings that don't spin in circles.  The "Space Available" program for rides requires the pilot to actually release seats on said flights, and since most flights are for official training purposes, no seats are released for people that don't need to be on the mission.
