The thread on bacon ice cream got me thinking about this. I once smeared some chocolate frosting on a piece of cheddar cheese. It was actually pretty good.

According to my wife, it's either saltines scooping up chocolate pudding or cheddar cheese sticks covered in real, super-thick sugar-cane syrup (Log Cabin syrup-flavored water need not apply).....

Impressed yet befogged, they grasped at his vivid leading phrases, seeing only their surface meaning, and missing the deeper current of his thought.

I've gotten a few puke smilies here for my toasted cheese, miracle whip and strawberry jelly samich....

Nuke last hotdog. Place hotdog on last celery stalk. Last squirt of squeeze cheese on hotdog.

Go grocery shopping next day (back in the not-so-prosperous days) grin.

Peanut butter on toast with some fresh lettuce is actually really tasty.

As a kid, I poured orange juice instead of milk on my Frosted Flakes . . . much to my mother's dismay.

And I've always considered it traditional to add a bit of ketchup to sauerkraut soup . . .

It is now 2008 in Iraq and things aren't much better.

Roasted grasshoppers and soju.

I could only imagine! Went to Kuwait 6 times and it never improved so I didn't figure it ever would.

I put bacon in instant noodles occasionally.
I try to time it right so the bacon is done when the noodles are done, then combine.
It's great.

Try putting a fried egg and a fish cake in your ramen noodles.

Then there were things bought on the street corners while in Korea.

Some things you never really knew or wanted to know what was in them.

Then there were the cheeseburgers with a fried egg, cucumber and cabbage.

A cheeseburger with a fried egg is fantastic.

Not so sure about adding cucumber and cabbage though.

Hungry Jack's, the Australia version of Burger King, has a burger with beet on it. Not quite sure why.

There is a Brazilian themed restaurant and bar here in Ames, IA that serves a cheeseburger with a fried egg on it. It has 1/2 # beef burger, Muenster cheese, egg, bacon, hot peppers, mayo, tomato, lettuce, onions and paprika. Freaking awesome!

After reading this thread guys, I just wanted you all to know I've lived a pretty sheltered life after all.

Thanks.

Steak and a sauce which, in the end, was really just a fancy peanut butter.

Beef carpaccio (basically beef sushi).

Everyone likes whisky or rum-n-cokes, so why not a vodka or gin-n-sprite?

Raw carrots and American "cheese" on white bread (I was seven years old).

Orange slices and a small amout of chocolate syrup.

Fish with cinnamon, paprika, and black pepper.

The first alcoholic drink I ever had was Hawaiian Punch and gin. Horrible.
