I have a ton of silver, but it's all dinnerware. I don't think a fine set of Towle Old Master is going to do me a lot of good after the apocalypse  undecided

It will as long as you have food to eat with it.  grin

Imagine, the S has hit the F, we are reduced to eating grubs we found in a rotted log BUT we're eating them with fine silver. Now THAT'S the American way!  laugh

Butters is professor destructo or whatever and some little kid is his sidekick.  Everytime Butters comes up with an evil plan (cutting the head off a statue, blocking out the sunlight etc...) the sidekick yells SIMPSONS DID IT!  Until Butters goes crazy because he cant come up with a plan that wasnt on the Simpsons
Wow, I love that episode and I completely spaced the reference.
Don't forget, at the end of the episode Butters FINALLY comes up with some far out plan that the Simpson's didn't do only to hear it announced that the Simpsons WILL do it in the next episode. LOL...

That sounded new so I wiki'd it.  I haven't seen that episode, just the one before it (with the garden hose plot).

Now I have something to live for...  grin

From Wikipedia:  "The Krugerrand was the first gold coin to contain precisely one ounce of fine gold..."

The US double-eagle is 0.9675 ounce.  The English Sovereign is 1/2 ounce.

This thread has inspired me to sort through the coin collection I inherited, and start liquidating.

I think the wheat pennies alone will end up financing some new tactical gear.

Screw habitat destruction, that explains why they're so rare.  grin

I don't necessarily disagree - but betwixt the Dems and the RINOs, I doubt a veto would hold.  Plus there may have beewn a trade-off for something he wanted...
