Tom Tancredo for President 2008 ?
« on: January 28, 2007, 12:09:48 PM »
Tom Tancredo's team has put up a site to gauge the public support for a potential presidential run:

http://teamtancredo.com/petition.php

You can sign up to show your support. I did.

Also, NumbersUSA has put up a page on comparison of presidential candidates in terms of immigration/ illegal-alien issues and strategies. Except for Romney and Tancredo, everyone else is beyond ridiculous. There is surprisingly little difference between other Rep candidates and the Dems. Al Gore of all people seems least insane among them. Interesting times.

I heard tancredo on the radio here last week.  I was less than impressed.  He thinks he will ride outrage over immigration into the White House.  I got news for him: a lot of us conservatives are not of the "mine the border and ship 'em all home" mindset.
I also loved how he fudged the name of his own presidential website.

Personally, I'd prefer to see Duncan Hunter run on the conservative ticket. I keep wondering when the GOP is going to present a true conservative. Guiliani and Romney are far from the conservatives I would consider. Both of them are anti-gun, too.

Just signed Tom's petition. Not the least ashamed to admit it, either.

Same here.  He and Dr. Paul are about the only two folks interested in the office at this point in time that are worth a damn.

Ask some conservative, freedom-loving citizens of Arkansas what they think of the Huckster.

Some people are never conservative enough for some conservatives, same applies to the liberals.
