The echo chamber in San Fran must have been especially strong yesterday.
Here’s your leftover turkey: The case for Hillary Clinton 2020
What better way to honor the holiday than with a spiteful argument for yet another Clinton candidacy?

Then there was this gem of an article, with no mention of the things Hillary got caught at and how that helped bring us to where we are today.
American democracy is in crisis, a fact that should be obvious to everyone but that too many people keep ignoring. The president of the United States, Donald Trump, does not believe in or respect basic norms of democratic governance. His words and behavior reveal a deep affinity for fascism.

OMG!
This is where Clinton offers a quality that no politician in America can beat. While Republicans are trying to tar her with a bogus scandal connecting her to Russia (and anyone who believes Clinton did something wrong in the Uranium One deal lacks credibility on all matters political),
Are they kidding? Is my calendar wrong, and this was April Fool's Day rather than Thanksgiving? I guess I lask credibility in all things political, then, because I believe she did wrong in the uranium deal. (Among others.)

They believe that whatever She did in the uranium deal (or anything else for that matter) was good and right and proper because She did it.
(it was hard to type that)

Salon must have dailykos or someone as their silent partner. The stories they write are simply ridiculous. If Trump said "two plus two equals four", they would immediately release a story on the "consensus science" as to why that is wrong.
The fact that they are pushing the "Hillary 2020" stuff, even as progressives abandon her, shows how deluded they are.

You misspelled Pravda, Comrade.

I fully support HRC running in 2020.

That's an interesting point. It would make somebody like Mad Dog (Mattis) a shoe-in.

They should change their name from Salon to Saloon. Then we could say, "You're drunk, Saloon. Go home."

You can thank common core.

I have wondered this myself...was the Trump win more about "anyone but Hillary" than it was pure support of Trump?

Based on an entirely unscientific polling of my friends and acquaintances, yes. They're not thrilled with Trump, but they considered him the lesser of two evils.

I would guess there was a fairly even split in the Trump vote, but I'm inclined to think the balance is tipped a bit more in favor of the "Anyone but HRC" vote.

Can you imagine the damage done to the prog/leftist coalition by HRC trying to not only stay relevant but in power?
Certain factions are trying to get rid of her now and it's causing rifts in their bloc. Three draining, destructive years years of a civil war between their various groups can only be a benefit to the country as a whole.

Down in rural Central and Southern Illinois, it was very much Pro-Trump and his economic message. The HRC hate was just bonus...

In these parts, there was a good sized contingent that was pro Trump. There was another good sized contingent (including me) that was not pro Trump, but not "anybody but Hillary" in the sense that Hillary was even a consideration.
It was more a lot of us just having had it (as we have talked about here at length) with the MSM, celebrities, etc. telling us what we were and who we should vote for. The "burn it down" contingent, which voted for Trump not necessarily because of any pro Trump PR, but because of the "anti-Trump" PR. When an SJW tells me to do something, I enjoy doing the opposite, even if it isn't completely in my best interest. That's how much their incessant nagging annoys me.

There was also quite a bit of anti-GOPe sentiment...

That (JEB!) too.
