Why...
« on: April 12, 2017, 08:27:00 AM »
Do otherwise sane people think that if you sell even a single round of ammunition you loaded yourself you're:

1. Breaking the law.
2. Required to get a manufacturer's license
3. Going to get borehogged by the full faith and power of the US government?

Yet those very same people think it's just fine to sell multiple guns out of a "personal collection" every year?

Every time someone mentions about how a buddy wants to either buy a box or two of reloads, or if the poster says he's selling a gun and he's wondering if he should throw some reloads in with it....  Multiple posters always come back with *expletive deleted*it like in regards to the ammo:

"You have to keep exacting records on how much the components for each round cost, and then you have to charge your friend LESS than the total cost! Even a penny less makes it ok!"

"Yer gunna goter jail and be Bubba's buttbuddy!"

But the gun?

"Wow, you're really going to sell a gun? I NEVER sell guns, but I'll buy that one from you! You can just mail it to me!"

You think that's bad?  Go on a Firearms board and ask if you can sell a firearm made from an 80% receiver......
