Houston Evacuation Plan
« on: September 22, 2005, 06:08:58 PM »
City officials have announced the official Houston 2005 Hurricane Evacuation
Plan:

Cajuns use I-10 East to Lafayette
Rednecks use 59 North to East Texas
Longhorns used 290 West to Austin
Aggies use 610 Loop

Friend of mine in Austin sent me this today.  Thought it was good for a laugh.
Oh, Lord, please let me be as sanctimonious and self-righteous as those around me, so that I may fit in.

Very funny.

Unless the forecase changes, it looks like the eye will pass directly over my house sometime Saturday morning.  I hope the sun is up, it should be interesting.  Hey Chris, what settings should I have my camera on to get the best photos?  The dial on my camera has lots of pictures on it.  Mountains for landscapes, a runner for action shots, etc.   I don't have a hurricane or tornado picture though.  Strange.  I guess my camera wasn't designed to be marketed to the Gulf coast region.  Smiley
