I had thought that the Navy stored the old reactors at Idaho Falls, and was interested to see that they are stored at Hanford now.

The class of boats that Narwhal was a part of (Sturgeon/637 class) were in their day the deadliest ASW platform in existence. They were also one of the greatest intelligence gathering tools we had. I may be a little biased but even the next generation of fast attack boats, the Los Angles /688 class, were not their equal.
