Dury's Camera store in Nashville -- good
« on: May 21, 2006, 06:40:59 AM »
After my experience with the two Minneapolis stores which banned carry within, it was nice to see an openly carried Kahr P9 on one of Dury's salemen. They re-organized a lot since my last visit a year ago and actually make higher than B&H prices worthwhile in many cases.

Oleg, consider yourself lucky that you have camera stores to go to.

Here in Milwaukee, the two stores that catered to professionals closed down about 5+ years ago. One, Reimers Photo Materials, had been in business longer than Kodak. The other, Helix, was a satellite store for the Chicago Helix Photo stores.

All that's left are amateur places. If I need to rent equipment, it has to be shipped up from Calumet Photo. Same with any professional-level purchases.
