DURHAM, N.H. -- A new study said one-third of potential voters in New Hampshire have only recently become eligible to vote in the state.
According to the Carsey Institute at the University of New Hampshire, the potential new voters are more likely to identify with the Democratic Party than established New Hampshire voters.
The study is based on analysis of recently released demographic, polling and voter registration data.
The report finds that between 2000 and 2008, 208,000 potential voters moved to New Hampshire and 113,000 others reached their 18th birthdays.
The study said that while preferences of new potential voters haven't yet been fully reflected by voter registrations, in general, counties with greater gains in new voters experienced larger gains in Democratic registrations.
Because Massachusetts wasn't PROOF OF FAILURE enough (insane taxes, people fleeing, 1-in-100 violent crime in Lawrence), let's repeat the same failure up here now! Yaaaay!
I kind of wonder if we have ACORN doing registrations here too... Lots of registrations? Mostly Democrats? Gee, that sounds familiar.
