I think Hillary is doing it wrong. She's attacking Trump on equal pay for women because he said, "You're gonna make the same if you do as good a job."

I'm pretty sure that's what "equal pay for equal work" means. If she's attacking it, I guess she's arguing that women should make more for lower quality work. :)

It has been a fairly consistent data point for a while that Republican administrations pay their female employees better than Democrat administrations.  However, Democrats seem to own the issue with the media and Republicans rarely talk about it or even defend themselves.

Wasn't Mrs Clinton 'outed' for paying the female employees of her foundation less than she was paying the men?

And Trump does have a track record of equal pay for equal work in companies.  I can't see how this is an issue, except that the media will run with it.  IIRC, it was while Clinton was a Senator that her aides made $.72 for every dollar a male aide made... ;/ ;/
