“Your husband is a grown up and you’re not his mother," wrote one group member."My husband can make his own damn lunch," scolded another. One user even went further: “I make my husband the same thing he makes me. Nothing!!”Others called her a "slave," and a "throwback" to the 1950s. They accused Maddie of being "weird"...
Most days, I pack my wife a lunch, because she has to be at work half an hour before I do. Am I supposed to turn in my man card now?
The last bag lunch anyone ever made for me was by my Mom while I was in high school. After that it was the college dorms/cafeteria "making" my lunch or local restaurants or myself.I still have a bunch of lunch bags left over from before I retired. No use for them now.Terry
That's as bad, if not actually worse! You're forcing your culinary will on your wife and depriving her of her God-given right to choose which slices of bread go on her sandwich!
In Liberal City, members of the same family are not supposed to do things for one other.
Personally, I love a little oppression in my apple pie. My wife always makes it that way - or else.
Preferably, if she's not wearing shoes while chained to stove.....
C'mon, at least use a shackle midway between the stove, fridge, and sink.
