IKEA singles out that ever-so-common carry weapon...
the Tokarev TT.

And I've never even been to AZ.

The peasants are revolting!

Yes, and they are rebelling, as well.   =D :P ;)
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

As we pulled into the National Cemetery today my wife nudged me.

She said that sign is just wrong here. Man I love my wife.

It didn't stop the stack of Garands from being there. I guess they couldn't read.

And I sure wasn't going to leave my pistol at the gate.

Hah!  Please tell me you've got one of the Yugo or Polish ones with a safety...?
Are you just *that* eccentric, or do you(like me) have a thing for Commie guns?

Yup, the revolver with the red circle with the line through it at the gate at the airports. Cracks me up every time I see it. "What? I can't bring my .38? I'd sure feel a lot better if I could."  =|

I have a thing for .11 a pop ammo delivered to my door...

My Polish has a safety but I carry hammer up with an empty chamber.

Is the cheap ammo that decent, or do you check each round before using it?  I have been reading a lot of ugly things about 7.62x25 recently, since the surplus ammo for sale seems to be getting older and older... :(

I do still want a CZ-52 and a TT, though. :)

IF a state must require one to have a permit to carry, they would be well advised to adopt laws similar to Minnesota's Permit to Carry law. (Hint: are you paying attention Cheeseheads??)

Utah recently passed a law giving business/building/property owners civil immunity over any actions by patrons carrying concealed weapons in an attempt to get owners to take down "NO GUNS!" signs. So far the few places I see such signs haven't taken them down. The signs have no special legal sanction here though, so I tend to ignore them.

Thor: given what we're looking at right now, we might just end up with something better.

not gonna start celebrating yet, but we might get everything in the next legislative session...

There is some cautious optimism that even here in Daleystan, that with a new Governor (Very Pro-2A and CCW/LTC), plus with the potential for a swing in both the State House and Senate, that Illinois might get CCW/LTC as well.  We might even beat the cheeseheads.  ;)

Short of Vermont or Alaska rules, I don't see how it could get much better than MN's laws. However, if it is, then it's all good!!
