So some folks have figured out how to save the tattoos of a dead person and make them suitable for framing!

Human taxidermy is always creepy, even if the deceased does not happen to be a Soviet dictator. If you want a keepsake of your loved one, get the same tattoo, or frame a drawing of it, or - anything but this.

So essentially, the funeral home carves off the tattoo and sends it to this other company to be tanned and framed.  Are Ilse Koch and Ed Gein the corporate officers?

If you want to “save” their tattoo get it either drawn on a nice piece of canvas and frame it or get it done on yourself (my FIL has the same tattoo on his leg that his father had)
