That was a typo, it's supposed to read 18 mos. old.  Which seems a little early for PMCS.

You're forgiven. I've made a typo or three myself.

Back to watches -- many years ago my first bride gave me a nice watch as a wedding present. Only problem was, it didn't work. Took it to a jeweler in the town where we were living who had a reputation as a watch guru (I'm old enough that digital watches were unheard of, and battery-powered analogs were rare and expensive). He opened it up and said it must have received minimal lubrication at the factory, and then probably sat in some jeweler's case for a long time, because it was bone dry. He lubed it up (it didn't need cleaning, just a few drops of "erl"), and it was good to go.

The first wife is LONG gone, but I still have the watch and as far as I know it still runs.
