My wife thinks it's funny that I get excited whenever we're watching Deadliest Catch, and I complain about all those nice cod they catch as bait for crab.

I'd save a couple dozen of 'em for myself!

Earlier this year I spent some time trying to convince my vegetarian friend that chicken, beef & lamb are in fact vegetables. Chicken, because no real animal can run around for months without it's head, cows & lamb because they've got nothing in the way of brain activity inside, so they count as vegetables too. As for pig, I brought forth the argument that "they'd eat you given the chance, the best way to deny them that chance is to eat them before they eat you". Did not convince her.
