Excellent elaboration of the Gun Rights Battle

Excellent editorial which lays out why we won't trust the gun grabbers.

It can be summed up as "they lie."

The article is, of course, more specific.
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

A long read.

Worth every minute spent reading it and following the links.

Add to that Lawdog's tome about how we've already "compromised" away 1/2 to 3/4's our RKBA with NFA '34 and GCA '68 etc. and there you have it.

I promise not to duck.

That is the best piece on the divide I have ever read.

I think he's wrong about any civil war being worse than the last two.
Their side does not have enough people willing to risk thier lives to make for much of a fight.

They are out numbered by at least 100-1. Any civil war that starts will be over in a week.

They have "authoritah" and 90%+ of the guys wearing blue.

It'll be damned ugly if it comes to that point.

That is what both sides said last time too. That is why they came out to watch the spectacle from a nearby hill. To watch those rebs run for home in 30mins. The war would be over in 90 days.

I have to agree with your assessment.

It's a tough article to comment on since he pretty much said it all. (Which is why it's such a long article.)
